IN THIS EPISODE:

I had my big interview with the company I was getting pursued by, and I felt it went fairly well. The VP asked some tough questions, but because I didn't really need the job, I was calm, cool, and collected, and I answered their questions the best I could. Later, the hiring manager called me to tell me that the final step in the interview process was for me to give a formal presentation--in person, in Boston. And it needed to be done that Monday because they're closed as of Wednesday. That meant only four days to prepare for my trip out, and only four days to prepare the presentation. Of course, that only added to my stress, but that's what happens when you interview for these high level sales positions. I agreed that I'd make it. So that was going to occupy me for the next few days rather than just winding down for the holidays like I had planned.
