IN THIS EPISODE:

A few things in this recording:  First, I was disappointed and frustrated because I hadn't heard anything more from the lady (Barb) who owned the two houses I was interested in. She totally ghosted me, and I had made the assumption that she Googled me and discovered that my fiancé was in prison. I had talked to Alan about it, and we were both stumped. It didn't feel like we were meant to stay in my current home, but nothing was panning out anywhere else. Also, I had heard from a publishing company that I had applied to a month earlier. The Sales Manager reached out to me to see if I wanted to talk about one of their open positions, and at the end of the call he invited me out to Boston for an interview. It was more money and a better position than where I was currently, so I readily agreed. And at the end of this recording, I berated myself for having gained all the weight back that I had lost over the past year. Thanksgiving was the next day, and I felt down about spending another holiday alone and in limbo. I didn't know whether to pack or unpack, and I certainly wasn't going to put up any Christmas decorations. Still, I was hopeful about things to come...
