IN THIS EPISODE:

Well... I had a few back and forth emails with my landlord, where he insisted the tax issue and foreclosure were none of my business, and that I needed to pay my late fees and my rent. On a whim, I called the county to see if there was any update, and sure enough, he'd sent his father in to pay all the owed taxes. So the home was taken off of foreclosure status. Only... he never told me! That made me SO mad! Sorry for the language in this recording, folks. I was not a happy camper. I had plans that next day to see the "barn home" I'd been considering a couple hours south, and so I just went ahead out of spitefulness and told my landlord that it was too late--that I had already put a deposit down on a place and planned on moving out, regardless of the paid taxes. As you'll soon learn in the next episode, I was clearly acting out of emotion and did not make the right decision. What would you have done??
