IN THIS EPISODE:

Once again I find myself feeling totally unwell and lethargic. Even though a previous doctor suggested that I might have Lyme Disease, I didn't realize then that it was something that would have lingering symptoms. I just thought it was something you caught once, took antibiotics to get rid of, and then it was gone. But clearly my poor body was going through something, whether it was the Lyme or some other virus, or just the effects of stress and poor nutrition. I continue to contemplate asking my doctor to be put on Adderall, which I was hoping might give me the focus and boost that I needed.

I also discuss my call with Gunner, where I talk about his best friend that I had that big blowout fight with. This friend continued to belittle me and talk down to me and talk curtly to me with anger and animosity, and both Gunner and I were confused by that. We hashed out that maybe the guy was on steroids or taking some kind of supplement or was addicted to caffeine--something that caused extreme volatility and aggressive behavior, which was totally unlike his personality when he and I first started talking.

Finally, I share the story of how I found an open sales position that I really thought would be a good fit, and I talk about what I'm looking for in a new role and how I applied to this job, albeit unconventionally.
