IN THIS EPISODE:

I wasn't quite convinced that I had Lyme Disease, and to be frank, I wasn't exactly sure what it was. But I knew I had some kind of chronic condition or virus, and the symptoms really sucked. I wasn't sure how to get my mojo back.  I was stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, and physically depleted. But I wasn't depressed or in a dark place. I just wanted to get my energy level and focus back. Gunner suggested that I talk to my doctor about going on Adderall. At the time, I had not been all that keen on it, although I did eventually go on it for a few years and it helped tremendously. I know now that as an amphetamine, it can cause severe addictions to those who have addictive personalities. However, I took it very responsibly and it made a world of difference. I'm no longer on it these days, and you'll learn more about that as time goes on. I also reiterate how alone I am, as I went a full day without hearing another human being's voice.
